Bwindi National Park is a nature lover's paradise, located in southwestern Uganda. It is home to over 120 species of mammals, including over 400 gorillas, making it one of the most biodiverse places in the world. The park was established in 1991 and covers an area of approximately 331 square kilometers.

Bwindi National Park is known for its gorilla trekking, which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many visitors. There are four gorilla groups that have been habituated for tourism purposes, each of which can be visited by a maximum of eight people per day. In addition to gorilla trekking, visitors can also take part in bird watching, nature walks, and community visits.

The park is also a hub of cultural activity, with the Batwa people residing in the area. These people are known for their unique culture, which includes music, dance, and storytelling. Visitors to the park can learn about their way of life by participating in a Batwa experience.
